Since 1998 Greystone Nature Preserve has been an enthusiastic supporter of this International, yearly activity to clean debris from our rivers, and oceans.  Participants record each piece of litter found and send tallies to the Center for Marine Conservation  in an effort to define and control sources of pollution.  Greystone's volunteers have included SUNY Fredonia students, The Cassadaga Job Corp Center, The Resource Center and many individual volunteers.
